THE STUDIO ~ housed in a historical brick federal in the heart of downtown Newburyport. The Studio offers a distinctive event experience for your more intimate gatherings. Offering personalized design of your special event, the space is perfect for your next birthday party, dinner, cocktail party or corporate meeting! It's also a unique space for bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and more! 

Rental of The Studio includes the planning services of our dedicated team, use of our furnishings, and access to the highest quality vendors in the Boston area as part of your event rental package.

We’ve been planning and designing events on the daily for a REALLY long time! Our wedding clients are always asking us to direct them to the best local venues for their Engagement Parties, Bridal Showers, Bridesmaids’ Luncheons and Rehearsal Dinners. We also get so many calls from people looking to host a small party at somewhere other than their own home but with the same “homey” feel.

Every day we are lucky enough to come to work at our amazing spot downtown. Direct sun floods the space with natural light, creating a comfy cozy vibe with all the charm of a historic New England home. One of our most favorite things is getting to hang on the couch with our clients and a glass of champers, while we plan their celebrations.

The Studio Newburyport was born from our desire to share our little oasis with those who are looking for that “home away from home” feel in an event space that’s absolutely perfect for smaller gatherings. What makes it all even more kismic is the fact that our little venue comes with its own in-house design team...literally IN HOUSE!

Rental of the Studio includes the front room, and back bar room and kitchen and restroom. 
You will have a dedicated event manager to help you coordinate timing, design your floor plan, and to answer any questions you may have about your special event! Seated dinners have an additional rental fee to include linens and tables. 

Seasonal fresh flowers, specialty linens and furnishings will be provided for an additional fee. 

Seated Luncheon or Dinner

Private Dining events can be an unforgettable, multi-course dining experience to celebrate a milestone birthday, rehearsal dinner, or other notable occasion. The bar can open for beverage service or used as a serving station for a buffet-style meal. The sound system can be used for your own music through your phone or tablet.

Guests: up to 15 people
 

Evening cocktail events can accommodate up to 30 guests - mingle style. Cocktail tables can be positioned around the front room and guests may order drinks at the bar in the back. There is an option to have passed appetizers for an additional fee. Candles are provided at no additional fee. The sound system can be used for your own music through your phone or tablet.

Guests: up to 30 people
 

Lounge style events can accommodate up to 20 guests with a combination of seated and standing room. There are two plush white couches and a selection stylish furnishings that can be set up in a number of ways to suit your event. The bar is open for beverage service. Fresh flowers, specialty rentals and furnishings are available at an additional fee.
