Biography
Amy McLaughlin is a lifestyle designer with 14 years experience in the fields of Fashion, Event Planning and Interior Ambiance. She advises private clients on the art of living well, and provides a broad range of design services, including Personal Styling, Event Production and Décor Design. With over 15 years of experience, Amy McLaughlin is widely respected in the Fashion Industry as a Wardrobe Stylist and Image Consultant to countless Celebrities, Socialites and high-profile Executives. Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and has natural passion for all things style. Growing up as the daughter of an Innkeeper/Wedding Coordinator, in the Berkshires, Amy became well-versed in client relations and event production at a young age. Amy became was soon known for her ability to plan and produce incredible parties. It began as a favor for friends, cooking their Holiday meals, designing elaborate table settings and assuring that every guest had the most unforgettable experience. Soon the word got out and Amy was being called upon to coordinate large scale weddings and corporate events. Upon her move to Los Angeles, Amy began freelancing as an Event Producer for Film Production Companies, assisting with movie premieres and after-parties. Years later, Amy combined her experience in Fashion and Event Planning and began working in Fashion Show Production. Due to her high demand and expertise in all areas of lifestyle enhancement, Amy developed her own company in 2005, aptly named Amy McLaughlin Lifestyles.
Since then Amy has worked on the set for shows such as Desperate Housewives, The Bold and The Beautiful, CNN Headline News, So.Cal's Best and OC Lifestyles. Amy has been featured as a celebrity wardrobe stylist on a number of independent films such as Lucky Town, What Boys Like, Chirascuro, and 1A. During awards season, Amy has plated an integral party of outfitting starts such as Nicolette Sheridan, Terry Hatcher and Spice Girl Mel B. For New York Fahion Week, Amy is busy styling the top designers' shows and has produced the following: Baby Phat, Bill Blass, Narcisco Rodriguez, Levis, LaPerla, and many more.
Today Amy divides her time between the East and West Coasts working with clients and on set. Amy McLaughlin Lifestyles is quickly becoming one of the country's leading Lifestyle Design Firms.
